This weekend is a wonderful opportunity to explore your full potential as a vocalist and artist. We will begin by checking in with the fundamentals of your instrument and then move on to refocusing and refreshing your work. Sessions will include Breath and Technique, Vocal Performance, Reawakening the Artist Within and Vocal Freedom. You will not only have the opportunity to work on individual material within the group setting but also will walk away with at least 20 new song suggestions and have a better understanding of the impression you make when you walk into the audition room. Casting Director Cesar Rocha from TELSEY + COMPANY will attend the final workshop of the weekend where each participant will have the opportunity to perform and receive feedback.

· 1 Yoga for Performers class

Kim Stern
Kim Stern teaches Private Voice Lessons, Vocal Performance Workshops, and Voice Technique
Workshops to individuals and groups around the world . Kim’s students can be seen regularly
working on Broadway, National Tours and Regionally. Her clients also include recording artists,
opera singers, cabaret artists and public speakers. Her teaching style has been called, “inspiring”,
“innovative” and “encouraging”. Bringing years of experience to the table she keys into each
performer’s individual needs, presenting the tools needed to bring their work to the next level.
Kim is the concept innovator and co-creator along with Deidre Goodwin of The Broadway
Warm-Up: A Completely Synchronized Vocal and Dance Warm-Up the can be completed in
under 30 minutes. She helped to establish the curriculum for the Musical Theatre Conservatory
Program at New York Film Academy was recently seen on Good Morning America coaching
anchor Bianna Golodryga for her Broadway debut.
As a performer, Kim has been working professionally since age five. She has performed on
Broadway, on National tours, in film and television and has done commercial and voiceover
work. Most recently, she was seen playing Catherine Martin,“the girl in the well” in Silence! The
Musical and Carly Rose Sonnenclar’s mother on Law & Order: SVU. For more info go to:
